Hazet usually supplies the highest quality tools and I have no problem with their quality. Received my hammer in the US, purchased through a Revain Global UK seller (although he never made it clear at checkout who the seller was) in a reasonable time. 10 working days delivered directly from Germany by Hazet to me. It was hung up at US Customs with a delay of a few days, where they normally open the package, just like the US Post Office. This way you usually get an open package and not always sealed with tape or whatever, which strikes me as odd. I wasn't happy at all with my purchase and I doubt I'll try to exchange or return it as I live in a remote area and I can't bear the returns. I received an open cardboard envelope with nothing inside but a hammer and a very large mass of white plastic about 4mm thick attached to one side of the hammer head and to the part of the handle that merges into a metal head that looks a lot like brittle peanuts . Some of the plastic was also in the form of small balls in the middle of the handle. I almost wonder if the manufacturer sent a "second" quality tool. It was totally unacceptable for the price and as I said I would have returned it if it weren't for the hassle and wait. I slammed the white plastic against the concrete corner of the building without hitting the handle part hard. Replacement threaded hammer heads are fine, although at 42 oz this hammer is very small in the hand. I think the photos of the workers that accompany the description text are most likely a 60 oz hammer or larger. For the advertised "hickory" handle, I was also unhappy that it didn't feel very hard at all. I'm sure many other buyers have had the opposite experience, but in this age where most things in the automotive industry ship to you direct from the manufacturer (the seller will never get a chance to inspect the item and such catch something inferior article). unit) I think I'd recommend trying to buy something like this from a seller who has the item (although it's almost impossible to tell these days) and paying a few bucks more for it.
