Review on Universal Sharpener Sharpening Locator Machine by Scott Ramu

Vertical stand that holds the thumbscrew to adjust the angle, it has a hole but it seems they forgot to put a thread in that hole, so useless. Alternatively if the thumbscrew is designed to go through a hole and get a nut. It doesn't even go through the hole. If that's correct (I don't see how) then it should be shipped with instructions or pre-assembled. UPDATE: It's actually designed for carving. I contacted them about the problem and they fixed the problem very quickly and offered to send me a new bottom plate to exchange. Not enthusiastic about unexpected work, but it's not an unwise decision. However, after not showing up for 11 days, I referenced the tracking number they gave me and the item was shipped to Illinois (I'm in Oklahoma). So. still waiting for this to be resolved. After speaking to them I suspect they will do their best to fix the problem. They seem nice/appear to be caring. Edit: They supplied a new bottom plate and it was relatively easy to replace. Now everything is in order!
