Better quality than expected

I'm an HVAC technician for a utility company, formerly a small HVAC plumber. I replaced quite a lot of water heating elements. The shop I worked at supplied a 3/4 drive head and breaker. Worked great and the weight of the tool made it easy to loosen and tighten. It's sad to see it being left behind. The utility company provides a lot of tools, but their supplier sends a stamped sheet metal tool to remove items, even though I ordered the outlet shown in the catalog. I've used the sheet metal tool before and it works. If I hadn't done this professionally, it would have worked fine at home a few times in my life. I decided to have my own socket as it is quite narrow in some places. Some techs buy regular bits and grind bevels/cones. I have seen this mark with no bevel/taper. I was hesitant to order it because it looks like a rough casting / cheap overpriced outlet from the photos. I was happy to find a better quality (less porous) rosette than the one in the photo. I like the 1/2 drive option because my employer provided a 1/2 drive and I have many 1/2 drive gears including ratchets and extensions that can be useful in tight spaces. Don't own 3/4 things. The nest has a small chamfer. To my surprise. The chamfer can cause it to slip off if it's not sitting straight, but I think it will be fine as I've used a standard socket before with no issues. You just have to keep it straight. bottom line. The price is reasonable. The quality is better than expected. And I plan to use it regularly for many years to come.

Cons
