Review on πŸ”₯ Enhanced Performance Brake Kit: Power Stop K092 Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors for Front and Rear by Charles Parente

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great set great price just one small thing to note

Firstly they are very easy to install. For rear brakes, be sure to install the bottom bolt before placing the caliper on the rotor as the tie rod will block access. They wear out pretty well. I followed the procedure in the instructions to break them in right after installation and they feel perfect after 500+ miles. I definitely feel an increase in stopping power. I've been careful with them though as you don't want to do too many ABS events due to the sudden climbs and drops that occur when you hit the brakes hard and drive in Florida weather there is a risk that you will warp the rotors. Just drive relaxed day after day, but if you want to have fun, make sure TCS is turned off so the system doesn't use the brakes to control wheel spin. If you warp your rotors you're almost safe as you can't handle perforated and slotted rotors like most brakes. You can only make light cuts, and even then you can only cut a little to correct the pulsing of the pedals or the wobble of the steering wheel a little. They wouldn't be for Mom's food company Maxima, but anyway, Mom looks for rotors and pads herself. It should also be noted that there is a difference in sound compared to standard brakes. It's just a slight hum under hard braking, but there's a slight hiss under light braking above certain speeds. However, there is very little dust and it keeps the wheels clean. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a small increase in performance for the same price as the stock rotors and pads. And by those prices, I mean actual factory OEM brake pads and rotors, not a set of aftermarket parts that are noisy, uncomfortable, and wear like shit. However, they are cheap and good value for money, drilled and slotted with ceramic pads. Only a large set of brakes from Stillen would be better, but they cost more than two pieces.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
