2010 Jaguar XK (Samsung Galaxy s20/S9) works great

I recently bought a 2010 Jaguar XK and was surprised that its Bluetooth is for phone connection only, no sound. I searched, found Bovee and gave it a try. It worked great. When the car starts, select IPOD as the SOURCE on the car radio. Now just plug BOVEE into the iphone/ipod port on the center console (30-pin connection port), while your car is still running, you will see a flashing blue light on BOVEE. Turn on the Bluetooth scanning function on your phones and select BOVEE to pair. After a few seconds you will see your phone is PAIRED with BOVEE. Done, it's that simple. I've used this with both the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S9 with no issues. Notes: You must select IPOD as SOURCE on the car stereo. You control play/pause using the steering wheel controls or the play/pause buttons on the radio, as well as the radio volume (when you try to play or pause play on your phone it only happens for a second or two and then starts playing Play or back to pause, just use the car stereo controls) You can select any app on your phone and the sound of that app will play through the car stereo (Revain Music, Youtube, Audible, etc.). It will reconnect and start playing when you return to your car. Bovee only works with audio, not phone calls, but you can connect your phone to JAGUAR for phone calls, so you can still make hands-free calls and the music is muted when you get a call. That last feature might be new to Android, but I'm not sure if it's Bowie. My wife connected her Galaxy s20 to a Bovee audio system and JAGUAR for the phone. I wanted to play an Audible book through my car stereo, so I searched my Bluetooth for nearby devices. It saw Bovee but also showed the ability to connect to BOVEE via my wife's Galaxy s20. I chose that option and launched my audio app and it worked and my wife's phone stayed connected to Bovee as well. This allowed me to "share" their audio link with Bovee. A very handy feature when you have two (or more?) people with phones in the car and don't want to turn off your main phone. BOVEE is a little more expensive, but you can add Bluetooth audio connectivity to your car, allowing you to seamlessly use your car's features (skip the play/pause volume track on both the radio and steering wheel). Both are expensive.
