I read the reviews - I didn't buy with hoses

I read the reviews that the hoses leak and I decided to buy this unit without hoses, and then I bought wire-braided hoses separately . For this reason I bought a replacement. For some reason the screw holes on the back of this unit didn't line up with my trailer mount. So I had to remove the bracket and just attach this block to the top hole on the propane holder's threaded rod. No problem, I would have liked a smoother installation. The instructions say it automatically switches when a tank is empty. I think so? Buy this device without hoses, and then buy braided ones.
