Make sure you pick the right reverse flare hoses

Being new to Vans I wasn't familiar with all types of fittings and hoses. If you purchase this model without hoses, MAKE SURE you get the hoses with a reverse flare connection, it has brass inlet fittings that run from NPT to the reverse flares, but you cannot remove them. I ended up having to buy the correct hoses with a reverse connector. I can't say yet how well the automatic shifting works. I will update the review if I run into any issues or if it works well.

I read the reviews - I didn't buy with hoses

I read the reviews that the hoses leak and I decided to buy this unit without hoses, and then I bought wire-braided hoses separately . For this reason I bought a replacement. For some reason the screw holes on the back of this unit didn't line up with my trailer mount. So I had to remove the bracket and just attach this block to the top hole on the propane holder's threaded rod. No problem, I would have liked a smoother installation. The instructions say it automatically switches when a tank is

So enter this handy thing. I used to have another unit and after 2 years it started leaking propane. This block also had a red indicator, but it was difficult to see. This device is very easy to see when a tank is empty. Another problem I had with another device was the gas supply. I noticed that when I…

Fits perfectly and works well so far. Happy with it for the price.

I bought this automatic switching valve to replace the original valve on my 2005 Coachmen Capri 29FKS caravan. So far I am delighted with this valve. I had a main mode tank and removed the secondary tank to refill it. My main tank hasn't been emptied yet so I can't comment on the auto switch feature or the low pressure indicator window in the main tank. One thing I would like to note is that my rig is a standard camper tongue rig with 2 tanks and two 30lb propane tanks covered with a plastic…
