Bought this to dice cooked meat for dog training treats. It's all plastic (expected), brittle and flaky (unexpected). Very noisy when using the pump mechanism; Makes a very loud clicking sound each time the lever is operated. It hurts to disassemble and painful to clean. I could tolerate all of this because I don't use it regularly, but the deal breaker was when he saw shards of plastic that he cut off himself and left in the food. The plastic pressure plate that pushes food through the metal grates is too big and the grate cuts off the edges of the pressure plate leaving it in the food. Also, this item is only for very soft foods - I could only put 1/8 inch flat sausage slices in it; more and it will not catch on. Push harder and you'll break the brittle cheap plastic.
