I bought these hoping they would be an easy way to attach my 1/4" hooks to my 1/4" to attach perforated plate, but they disappointed me a lot. use. After assembly, the hook was difficult to insert into the perforated plate. I think I'll use clips again: they've worked quite well, although they're usually disposable (easy to insert, break trying to remove). I'll keep experimenting with Pegitz and post any updates as I find a better way to use them. UPDATE 9/24/2021: I tried using plastic clips but sometimes they broke and sometimes they just didn't fit (two snags). , so I looked at Pegitz again. I found that inserting into the perforated panel was easy if I used a flathead screwdriver whose tip was a 1/4" drywall anchor and screwed it all the way in. To insert the hook I used a jackhammer hook Push the hook through the pegitz into the wall with constant firm pressure - avoid using excessive force as this may damage the pegboard. I hope this helps others who have purchased this product.
