I thought it was a cheap set of straps but I needed them to attach my board to my standard 4Runner roof racks. After working for many years and using many racks, I was surprised how easy and convenient they are to use. I can not only use them for surfing. I always have them in my car when I need to attach something to my roof rack. They have a flexible yet secure bungee cord center and the hooks and strap are easy to use and very strong. The metal hooks are covered with rubber to protect the painted surface. so simple and effective. Knowing what I know now, I would buy them even if I didn't use them on my surfboards. add and remove quickly and easily. They did not loosen even after many kilometers at highway speeds. i love these guys These are very light and versatile harnesses for Yakima, Thule and lager carriers. 100% customizable, quick installation and removal.
