So I had to turn a small, freshly cut 12 inch diameter maple stump 1 or 2 inches so it could be turfed. Box, the tool is solid and sturdy and seemingly perfect for the job. And that was about two minutes. The blades quickly lost their ability to cut or shave and simply began burning the wood. Also, the design of the tool is such that the standard lug nuts on my Milwaukee angle grinder will not fit into the notch on the front of the tool. This can be effective on softwoods, but for each wood of any density I would suggest a different one.
