I tried another mini crusher first, which wasn't very small and had a bulky array of plastic blades that contained a lot of precious avocado. and required the laborious removal of what was left between the blades. It was so painful to use that I went back to the fork as a crusher. Then I tried this one and VOILA! PERFECTION! It's really delicate and almost nothing sticks to it, just quickly run your finger along each side and everything is in the bowl where it should be. And it can be a small bowl, you don't need a bigger bowl than you want to mash an avocado with this kitchen utensil.
