This rug looks just as good as the pictures so I'm happy with it. But I almost tried to return it because I couldn't stand the chemical smell. I rolled out the rug and smelled a little, but I hoped it wasn't too bad. The next morning my whole house stank and I couldn't breathe so I had to take it outside. After doing some research I found out that this is due to the volatile organic compounds used in the manufacture of carpets which are toxic to our health. I put the rug in the garden for two months before the smell went away and I was finally able to bring it inside. Everything is fine now and I like the mat, but I wanted to warn others. It is better to choose a natural carpet if you want to use it right away and cannot keep the windows open all the time.
