I give it 5 stars and will wait until the next rain or outing to see if it holds up. I'm not a professional auto repair shop, but I can tell you that after a thorough hand wash, clay bar, and drying with a white rag, my truck was as clean as can be. As I started applying the wax I could see, feel and hear the difference as the applicator pad slid across the truck. Easy to put on, easy to take off. no discoloration of plastic or rubber surfaces. It's a new truck, but the panels I waxed looked a lot lighter next to the panels waiting to be waxed, which really impressed me. I wasn't wearing gloves and my hands and towels were washed easily. Towards the end the hood was in direct sunlight but the product applied smoothly and washed off easily. I think I'll skip the second layer. For an A-type like me, that's quite an endorsement. The product isn't as viscous as I expected, but don't let that fool you. This bottle should last a long time.
