If you can get through bare wood without nails or screws, these drills are a godsend. Be careful if there is something on the other side. These nozzles are SUPER aggressive and barely penetrate wood. Unfortunately, when they hit a nail or screw, it's a little more than they can handle, as they make very smooth holes and very quickly. My 7/8" bit was gnawed on by a nail and now the threads on the tip are broken and the edges of the cutting faces are chipped beyond repair. And that was from being hit with a fairly large nail. I would still recommend these bits since they are fast for rough work, only adding a caveat that they are not suitable for driving nails or screws.
