I had to open up a vacuum that was secured with torx screws deep in small holes, but I just couldn't find the right torx or hex. Then, when I took a closer look at an exposed screw head, I realized that they were security screws - with a tiny indentation in the center that required a Torx bit with a hollow center. When I found a full set of security bits for less than $10, I decided to buy them. The quality of the various attachments in the set I received is poor but although the one I needed was a little off center it worked adequately. Considering the price of the set and the expected infrequent use, I'm not complaining. If I were a professional repairer I would consider a higher quality kit that is three or four times the price, but for my use this kit is adequate.
