Incredible. Does what I paid for. I have previously purchased and returned 2 external Blu-ray players. I have a dedicated 5 volt DC power supply for this drive. I got it from a powered USB hub. Same plug. If you don't have a separate power supply, try plugging USB power into a self-powered hub - you'll get your 5 volts ------- And this thing will SING! :) I connect my HP Surface directly to USB-C and power it with my 5V PS. I use PowerDVD. This is my new Blu-ray player.
