Update: After the fourth use, this new design confirmed my suspicions. This new design is definitely cheaper. The plastic has deformed. It's no longer airtight and doesn't even close completely. Now it's useless. First review: I paid $3 more for this poacher because the picture shows an older lock design. The poacher I received is a cheaper non-blocking design. The interlock design is much better to prevent your eggs from exploding in the microwave.
