My knitting style has the yarn close to the needle point so I appreciate sharp needles that are also strong and smooth. I've frustrated circular needles that have broken at the junction of plastic and metal or wood pieces, or have been too wide at the ends for my style. Also, I mostly work with more than one yarn, which requires strength, durability, good tips that don't separate the threads, and a non-rough joint. A few years ago I tried ChiaGoo needles and fell in love with their quality. I've never had a set because the bond between metal and plastic coated wire is so complete. The tips are smooth and helped my speed. They are easy to hold. And the price is reasonable. I will never buy any other unless I can find ChiaGoos in the market. These are great needles for my style.
