I have been servicing my seawater tanks for over 7 years. The accuracy of the test results is very important. I have only used Redsea test kits on my mixed reef. I decided to try the Hanna Calcium Test. The box it comes in is beautiful. Contains 2 vials, 2 syringes, 1 colorimeter, 1 liquid reagent and several packs of powder reagent. I personally didn't like the forward and backward steps of this test. I also found this very contradictory to the results I've read. I've watched many videos of people doing this test to see how different people do it, and I've also read the instructions many times to make sure I'm getting the best accuracy. I would test the first time and get a calcium score of 550, then repeat it and get a calcium score of 360. I personally would not recommend this test. I went back to Redsey and compared and again they didn't match at all.
