I've ordered these from my local hardware store for a few projects and they work great. Much better than slotted ones. I just pre-drilled the holes, applied some oxide resin to the external threads, used an allen wrench and screwed them in. They're not very heavy, but for what I need, they work great. UPDATE: I have a ruler for my dive. Milling cutter and decided to make a handle on the adjustment plate end screw. Bolting is accomplished with a 3/8-18 nut built into the rail. I had an old broom at the store that I wanted to throw away, so I cut off the handle. Ideal for making paper towel holders. I cut off a piece the same height as the router bit, drilled a pilot hole in one end, used one of those epoxy inserts on the external threads and installed it. Tried it out on a shelving project today and it works great. I cut off a piece of 3/8-18 solid screw and used it for the assembly. Don't forget Lock Tit on the side of the thread insert. Thanks again for an inexpensive solution. Works for me!
