I was looking for the lids my mom could use to reuse other products (frozen juices, spreads, etc.) to seal my 14-16 ounce steel cans, etc. couldn't find anything , which would work fine. The Container Store had one or two in the shape of a dog's paw in a package for over $5, and they didn't work well (although they were cute). When I received my order for these silicone lids, 10 per pack (there were so many that I shared with my family) I was amazed at how compact and airtight they are and how easy they are to put on jars! I don't put them in the dishwasher; I just spray them with some dish soap diluted with water, then vinegar to thin the soap and set them out on the window to dry. They fit in an air removal ziplock bag and take up less room in my kitchen drawer than the two lids I bought at the container store. I love her.
