I bought this to replace a 20+ year old genie screw drive opener. Never again.Good: much quieter, easy to put together, reasonable price.Bad: the electrical terminal block on the head unit is a terrible design. It is not the traditional metal screw terminals that are still used on the wall switch and safety eyes.The terminal strip is a stab-in style which forces you to press on a small plastic tab to open a spring loaded terminal. They chose the absolute cheapest, most fragile possible version of this. Of course, one of the plastic tabs broke off as I am finalizing a multi hour install.These terminals are not suited to multiple wires in the small opening supplied. Their design requires multiple wires in each hole.The extra 3 cents they saved on buying these terrible terminal blocks are not worth the risk of breakage.I would love to speak to the person who made this design choice and buy them a beer.
