Review on Electric Screwdriver Precision Rechargeable Electronics by Greg Sullivan

Great little mount so far

I bought this primarily for a job making custom mounts that can have hundreds of tiny screws per unit. I've shared a wireless Skil device for work but it's too big/bulky to use with most things we build and for the tiny screws and screw heads we use it was honestly too strong, it was easy to remove and carve the heads, when you put it on don't be careful. This device fills a nice niche where there's not a lot of torque (but very reasonable for its size) and more tactile/feedback is good. The power is really good. Even with a few lightly tightened screws, this little block will still screw them in more times than not. It seems that using a higher speed helps to achieve more "coolness". The ergonomics are good. It doesn't roll around on the bench but is still comfortable in the hand. The anodized aluminum body is a nice touch, and the flashlight often comes in handy as a torch at work. I think the real test in the long run will be durability. I won't be using this on every mount I build, but it can see a few hundred screws per mount. I'll tell.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
