You could tell it's brand new out of the box. No sign of it. I like hardware. The software is pretty good and I love all the apps/widgets but this thing has crashed 4 times in 3 months. The first 3 times there were vertical lines on the screen and they bounced all over the place. I contacted Garmin support (who was quick to chat and helpful) and they got me to do a hard factory reset. Then everything was fine for another month, and then he completely froze after training. I would be pissed if that happened during training. I restarted and it's been fine for a week. So in general I really like the clock, I just want it not to freeze every now and then. I hope this is a software issue and not a random hardware issue. I think it's pretty accurate. I drive the same route and it deviates from time to time, but I think any GPS will do based on the weather and the aliens messing with the satellites. The cards supplied fail. BUT, you can download and install all kinds of free ones. Don't pay for Garmin maps. Also note that there is a 1-year Garmin warranty after the repair, which is very good.
