I love it! Best in Sports and Portable GPS

The first watch I ordered had a problem, it only had 1 day of battery life. But Amazon exchanged my watch immediately, current one looks like new, no signs of wear, with 1 year warranty from garmin, battery life is good, 12-13 days in smartwatch mode with 2-3 starts per week. Overall very happy with the watch and customer service from Revain.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not sure

I've had this watch in the past and loved it, but was dying to try the 4th generation Apple Watch. Apple Watches are great for everyday use. but forget it if you are remotely active. I bought this guy again for half marathon/marathon training because the apple watch battery life sucks. If you do sports (running, cycling, etc.), choose Garmin. Their products are much better for the active adventurer.

Ditched Apple Watch in favor of Garmin

I initially chose the Apple Watch because I thought it was too big and thought texting from my phone would be cool . I found the Fenix X5 to be a better fit for my active lifestyle. The battery doesn't drain as quickly (lasts a couple of days) and tracks my runs and heart rate better than the Apple Watch. The GPS is amazing, it's not as fragile (I broke a few apple watches at the gym and at work) nor as bulky as I thought it would be and best of all I still get all my social Media notifications

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Make every workout meaningful!

Certified refurbishment is what you need! This is the second smartwatch I have purchased refurbished from Revain and there have been no issues otherwise I would have known it was refurbished. These watches are amazing! I've been wearing it 24/7 for a few months now. I've been using a polar watch (V800) for 9 years and after using the Garmin fenix 5x I never want to go back to it. The numbers are ridiculously better. I was able to run faster and longer by tracking my cadence and seeing the…

Nice watch but sync and app issues

I have bought other Revain refurbished devices and this has been one of the best so far. Now I have Fenix 3 and 5X. The Fenix 3 didn't have a heart monitor, but I like the design and feel. So we ordered this Fenix 5 and I love it even more. Both have been refurbished and both are still immaculate. The price was the reason I chose the refurbished unit and the Revain gives me no problems if something is wrong and I want to return it. I've had it for 5 months now and my biggest problem is the sync

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Fenix 5X Saphire Refurbished

You could tell it's brand new out of the box. No sign of it. I like hardware. The software is pretty good and I love all the apps/widgets but this thing has crashed 4 times in 3 months. The first 3 times there were vertical lines on the screen and they bounced all over the place. I contacted Garmin support (who was quick to chat and helpful) and they got me to do a hard factory reset. Then everything was fine for another month, and then he completely froze after training. I would be pissed if…

Item looked brand new despite being refurbished

I bought the item for cycling. It did a great job with heart rate monitoring and it was easy to pair with my phone and Garmin software. This product is really designed for training. You can't expect a real smartwatch like the Apple Watch or Samsung. That being said, all the apps that work with it have something to do with sports for me and I found them to work very well. There are two areas where I think the watch could be better for the money. The screen is not very contrasty or at least does…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Periodicity

Amazing technology: Working GPS modules

Update after over two months. If I could give this watch 10 stars I would. I have now logged over 490 miles of walks, runs and runs on my watch. According to Garmin, I'm in the top 96% of daily steps (over 15,000,000,000 steps per day). I walk/jog/run my dog 5 miles every morning and use the tracking feature every day weather permitting. The GPS function is accurate and consistent. It logs every day up to 100 miles and halfway to the exact spot. I don't vouch for the calorie counter, but it…

Amazing watch! for GPS, viewfinder and accessories

This is the second Garmin Fenix 5X that I own. The first was loaned to me by my company for work purposes and then had to return it after a few months of use. I can't imagine not having something like this. I looked at several different watches but couldn't find any with the fitness and mapping features this model has, so I bought a certified refurbished Fenix 5X to keep the costs a bit low. In my opinion, there are no other watches for fitness. it might touch on what Garmin has in their Fenix…
