I have a 48" Hi-Lift First Responder (fire) jack and a 2016 JKU soft top. It was difficult to find a mount in my car that would allow me to lower the top without using the cargo area to lock and without removing the jack. Other fasteners will not work with the base for this jack. But this kit allows me to move the socket to any location I want on my lights and it holds them securely. The jack does not wobble, doesn't rattle, doesn't rattle, etc. It's going to be part of my Jeep. Only downside (and I was aware of it) was safety. Ragtop running means things can grow legs. I'd like the manufacturer to make a handle lock or at least has the option to upgrade to a lock handle for an additional cost.I have a temporary solution until I can think of something more complex and secure.
