Macbook vibes in conventional laptops

Honestly, the laptop is great! I bought a 1x8GB DDR4 Sodimm 2400MHz CL16 RAM kit to upgrade my laptop's memory from the original 8GB and I quickly discovered that the laptop comes with 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard, so you can only replace another stick RAM in a populated RAM slot that has a 4GB stick. So now I have 12GB RAM on my f512d Ryzen model. Also, the SSD that came with my model used a 256GB Kingston SSD, leaving an empty slot for a 2.5" SATA SSD or hard drive. Battery life is around 2-3 hours on a near full charge, and since my college classes require at least 1.5 hours of charging for each class, I could dim the display for less battery drain and possibly the keyboard backlight, but I have to say it is a win anyway. Overall, the screen is IPS and beautiful, the whole system feels fast and responsive, and I can actually run 3D apps on it without crashing like I did on my latest 2013 Samsung i3 laptop. I love AMD's new product line and hope this helps everyone. I still want to buy this laptop. UPDATE: Unfortunately, my blockade didn't last long. I've just started using my 3D software and new C++ code development environment and this thing was popping up on a blue screen about every 5 minutes. Sometimes I got lucky and it worked fine but just today the drive almost stalled and when Windows tried to repair or reset it it just died. Now I boot into the bios every time without saving or recognizing the SSD boot. What a brilliant time for his death. As far as battery life goes, turning the keyboard backlight off literally gave me over 9 hours of battery life. It's sad to see that. UPDATE #2: See the comments on this review for more information. With all due respect, I will not update anything in this review or respond to comments posted after this date. I hope I was able to help someone with their purchase.
