Review on General Tools 305ME Precision Stainless by Chris Smotherman

Seems to be a decent quality rule. Who at General Tool would have thought that gluing them to the cardboard backing before applying the outer plastic seal would be a good idea? First I had to spend a lot of time carefully cutting off a very dense outer layer of plastic without bending or scratching the ruler. It didn't come out easily. Second, after removing it from the cardboard backing, I found that it was STICKY, so I had to spend more time with the glue remover to remove the cardboard and glue residue from the backing. That being said, it seems like a good rule of thumb and it's MADE IN THE USA.
