Totally impressed with this thing

ok so ok. I haven't used it yet. Maybe it will take me completely by surprise and be totally ineffective. But I doubt. That's a beast. The build quality appears to be top notch. I know enough about welds and steel quality to judge with any authority. If I actually use it to get my truck out of a ditch or use it to park my trailer in a ridiculously tight space, I'll update the review. Until then, you'll have to put up with the fact that I know as much as I can. Installation Notes: The half hour installation is a JOKE. If you had everything you need ahead of time, you've already used pneumatic tools and installed about a dozen of them and already jacked up your truck and removed the paneling. Yes, the half hour they state is doable. But expect it to take a few hours if you're a mortal. That doesn't mean the installation was difficult. no way. It was cake, but it just took time. Oh, and if you can't lift 35 pounds with one arm, you might need a buddy to help you. Because you have to hold it with one hand while tightening the screw with the other to insert the first screw. Just a note. The kit contains many accessories. MUCH better than the things it replaces that hold the tow hooks. Heavy-duty carriage bolts with 1/4" thick backing plates (or thereabouts, I haven't actually measured the material) and this thing called "fishing wire" that I've never used before to help you screw into hard-to-reach places To get places.. in the frame guides.. let me tell you that after using this wire jig you'll be wondering why you don't have a whole set of it.. a winch on a plate (which I bought too, these guys also use it which is also cool) that fits into the receiver so I can easily take it off the truck and use it in the back of my truck when needed.. Imagine how many times you have to pull the car forward and how many times do you have to reversing to get out of a tight spot you're in? in front of your car just sitting in the rain most of the time, reducing gas mileage on the highway? I don't know. but di This product is exactly what it gives you in combination with the other thing I mentioned. When you're on the fence. Buy it. it is wonderful.
