The dial was difficult to read although the 8 inch probe size was just the size I was looking for. Despite the description, the numbers were not easy to read. Most importantly, right out of the box I tried to calibrate it by putting it in a pot of boiling water, the sensor didn't go above 150 degrees Fahrenheit so it was useless. I'm glad I tested it before using it in any of my recipes. So annoying that it's not accurate.
