The day I programmed these key fobs into my car was a nightmare. To date, my 2012 Malibu has had absolutely no problems. On the way home my car stalled and stalled. After taking it to the dealer 3 times in a month and paying over $1,000 just for the parts my car is FINALLY back to normal. (They didn't charge me for the work) It happened that almost all the sensors and modules in my car burned out. No wonder it wouldn't start and I kept getting stuck. My advice: buy a factory key and a key fob. It's more than worth it.
