I noticed that our wireless connection to my laptop was very slow with my previous router, so I decided to switch to this one. I usually use Netgear but this one seemed to have the same speed as Netgear but was a bit cheaper. I have above average knowledge when it comes to setting up electronics, so replacing a router is usually easy. Not in this case. The router could see and connect to my home network, but it couldn't access the internet. I worked on it for about an hour to get it working. I called Linksys tech support, but after an hour of talking to someone who spoke English as a second language, I still couldn't connect to the internet. Some of the things she let me try were completely unnecessary and had nothing to do with the problem. Sent it back to Revain for a refund and bought a higher speed Netgear.
