I've knitted some stuff (mostly blankets) for babies and it turned out they love the blankets the most. This is definitely a protective material for blankets! I knitted two blankets and a little blue pipskik pattern for my two year old great grandson. He pulled it out of the box and sat on the couch for about an hour, holding it to his face. I made two quilts because I knew he would like them so he could still have one quilt when the other is washed. I have knitted blankets for other children. A template for when they go somewhere and don't want him to carry a blanket with them. It can also be placed in your purse for emergency use. Fits well, no worms although you can't see the stitching that well. I've been knitting for a long time, so I knit by feel and don't need to watch what I'm doing anymore. Ordered this multi colored version of Pipsquick for another baby and found it to be a lot fluffier and thicker. than solid blue (at least the batch I received). I had to go up a few needle sizes to work with it.
