Carefully! Will not fit Mitsubishi F5MC1 Transmission
Although Revain's online catalog lists this backlight switch as fit for 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse 420Amp 2.0L DOHC Engine and Transmission F5MC1 ( by New Venture Gear as the A578 and fitted to Chrysler Neons from 1994), this transmission-mounted shifter is actually for the turbocharged 2.0-liter or 2.4-liter SOHC engine. Update: Look out for Airtex 1S4941 for the F5MC1 gearbox. Also suitable for other vehicles with night vision A578 such as Dodge Neon.
