Review on Optimized for XFINITY Internet & Voice: NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 WiFi Cable Modem Router Combo (C7100V) by Travis Chavis

I bought this because with Comcast Xfinity if you want to add a phone you need a router modem that can deliver internet and phone. Is it expensive. And what's worse, exactly 6 months and 1 week after I bought it, it stopped working. Comcast told me to call Netgear if Comcast couldn't get it to work and Netgear asked me to pay $90 for a 6 month service contract so they could help me. In the end they just told me to put a paper clip in the reset button for 2 minutes to reset it. I spent $90 on this tip? Very disappointed that I had to pay an additional $90 to get this thing working after spending over $200 to purchase it six months ago.
