Updated: 4/24/2020 +1 Star to 5 It looks like it's definitely a moisture issue. I dried the filament in a dehydrator for 6 hours and now the print is perfect. I had CoPa Nylon from Polymaker which was even worse and dehydrated it for a good 12 hours and now prints great. It's crazy how hygroscopic some threads are. The filament has always been stored in a dry box except when printing. Experience has shown that active dehumidification was necessary after a few uses outside of the dryer. Update: 04/16/2020 +1 star to 4 I just ordered a large dehydrator to dry my dental floss in the hope that this would solve the problems. For some reason I have never experienced bubbles, pops and poor print quality in continuous PETG printing over the past year. I've always stored my filament in an airtight container with plenty of desiccant and thought that was enough. My Hatchbox PETG wheels are still fine, but the Polymaker PETG and CoPa nylon seams have serious moisture issues. Will update again once I've run them through the dehydrator. I have several different colors of Polymaker and 2 out of 3 are good. I received a dirty black roll. Constant extrusion problems, small pops due to air bubbles in the filament. It's almost impossible to get a good print that looks even halfway decent. I throw in a cyan roll and it prints great. Let's get back to black and immediate issues. My filament is always stored in a large airtight container with plenty of desiccant and moisture is not a problem. I usually use Hatchbox for PETG and have always had good luck with it. Polymaker filaments are generally a little more problematic, but the black reel is useless.
