I wanted a camera that would stream video over my local wifi so I could move around as needed for different projects. I use it to monitor 3D prints or babysit in the garden and it does the job well (if you know the limitations). It doesn't have autofocus, so you'll have to manually focus the camera. It's supposed to be a cheap camera module, so if you need some sort of autofocus, you'll have to pay more for that feature. This module manages to transmit up to 30 frames per second at 1080P without much difficulty. I might end up buying more to use on other projects so I can control it remotely from my desktop if needed.
