Let me give you some information. I use Candlewic brand tealight cups: 1/2 inch high and 3/4 in diameter, aluminum. Soy wax Candlescience Ecosoya CB Advanced. Candlescience Eco 1 1" tealight wicks with reeds pre-attached. The last color I buy here at the Candle Shop. So I'm not sure why color wax seems to be rejected. When I use blue dye the wax seems to separate from the dye a bit "When I light a candle, the puddle on the candle snuffs the wick. If I don't pour wax while the candle is burning, then it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time it forms a puddle, and then the wick in the puddle shrinks and expires. Previously had the same issue with black, blue and orange dye. I hope that makes sense. Unless someone has already said that this dye doesn't mix well with soy.
