Review on Adjustable All Metal Shower Head Holder – Polished Chrome, Universal Wall Hook Bracket with Brass Pivot Ball for Hand Held Showerheads by Tres Carmon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

metal > plastic! Benjamin Franklin was right (again).

Excellent all metal brass shower head holder to replace the broken plastic holder. I had already ordered a complete shower head replacement with plastic hose holder from Revain when I saw this all metal holder. Both are about $25, so I ordered both. When I saw the metal bracket I returned the full replacement. My old 72-inch hose and showerhead (Vive manual showerhead, $25 at Revain) still worked well after nearly two years, and I occasionally soaked the head in vinegar overnight to clear nozzle clogs due to stiff water. Having a 72 inch hose if you want to wash a Chihuahua's belly while standing on the floor in the shower, for example. Shower hoses from most major brands, even at $200, are only 60 inches long and don't touch the floor with your head held high. All metal holders are as strong as possible. The range of motion is decent, from straight down to straight ahead. I don't know why most shower hose holders, even expensive ones, are now made of plastic. Well, of course, that's because they're cheaper. But, as Benjamin Franklin said, "The bitterness of low quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." "The bitterness of low quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
