Bought a set for 5 years. We liked it so much we bought another one for our son. He is 7 years old, 4 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 92 pounds. Size 14 fits snug with no room to grow. He prefers a tight fit under all hockey gear. The length of the arms corresponds to his wrist. Pants right at his ankles. With sporty shorts and a cup, maybe a 16 could work better? We use the delicate setting and hang all our gear to dry so I don't know how it will perform in the dryer. The fabric quality, belt and stitching are great compared to another brand we bought from Revain. However, they are not as good as the branded set we bought from a hockey retailer. But for this price we will buy another set.
