to make the vacuum cleaner cleaner. The bags are easy to change and hold a reasonable amount of rubbish. I often alternate between wet and dry cleaning. This is for dry cleaning only, but I take out the bag, do a wet clean and put the bag back for dry cleaning (after vacuum drying). It also seems to catch more fine dust and is cheaper to replace than the main vacuum filter (which you still need).
