Although the description says my Ridgid vacuum model number, the bags didn't fit. They were too big and also they didn't stick to the vacuum.

So far I have not had any complaints about using these bags to collect sawdust, shavings and dirt. I haven't tried them with fine particles like sanding dust, so I can't comment on how well or effectively they work there. But for general cleaning, they're just as good as the more expensive brands. I will buy again.

Those shiny bags. Gone are the days of turning off a backyard filter 20 times. I used the default setting at the beginning of my project and many stops to clear the filter. The second part of the project, tons of dust but still on the first bag without significant loss of suction.

I clean and turn tons of Ridgid bags. Although I would try to save a few bucks on bags. I will return the second bag. My HEPA filter cartridge kept the fine dust in place, but the folds of the filter cartridge were black from the soot picked up by the vacuum cleaner. So not sure about the quality, not sure about the cost saving, especially when it is very important that there is no dust in the customer's house.

to make the vacuum cleaner cleaner. The bags are easy to change and hold a reasonable amount of rubbish. I often alternate between wet and dry cleaning. This is for dry cleaning only, but I take out the bag, do a wet clean and put the bag back for dry cleaning (after vacuum drying). It also seems to catch more fine dust and is cheaper to replace than the main vacuum filter (which you still need).

I found the vacuum bag to be very well made except for the elastic that holds it to the plastic inlet hose. Just a little flimsy for a Dewalt vacuum and it would just slip off making it inefficient. Since I had a 10 pack I stuck a small sheet metal screw into each side of the cardboard collar and into the plastic canister itself. The vacuum was not damaged, it now works perfectly. A stronger rubber strap would solve the problem if it could be used on a Dewalt.

After cutting the brown paper bag, apply glue to cover the bag's seams. I no longer had a pocket tear at the seams. I have used Titebond interior glue but I would recommend contact cement as it is flexible especially with a tight mesh or strip of old clothing. This would be a really good buy if they didn't unravel in the side seams so often! The stitching looks good, doubled and taped. But for some reason too often the glue just peels off. They fit nicely on my rigid vacuum cleaner (but much easier if you rip off, or at least bend back, the round cardboard valve in the hole). But four out of ten bags separated at the side seam when vacuuming, causing dust to clog the main filter, and in one case a quarter-sized hole formed in the sidewall of the bag…
