Simple. Do not buy. Try to get under the device and attach this thing. You have to hold your fingers to grab the filter and if you slip, repeat, repeat, repeat until the filter sticks. So-called anti-slip fingers are NOT non-slip. You'll need a 1" adapter. Just stick to the basics. Try a rough handle or a simpler tool from your local auto shop. I threw mine in the bin.
