
I'm not a bricklayer. I fixed some bricks on my front step and got extra mortar on the bricks where it wasn't needed. I tried it with a wire brush. Try an angle grinder with a grinding wheel. I should have just used this stuff. Once you apply it turns the cement/mortar into a waxy soap-like substance that is slowly washed off with a garden hose nozzle. The washing machine is probably faster, but I didn't have one. The results were quite brilliant, with a lot less effort than I expended trying to grind the solution. enough for 100-200 m2 of masonry.
