The cable wasn't very long, I had to splice it with another cable to make it long enough for my purposes. Other than that, the setup wasn't too bad and it seemed to stay in place quite firmly. The USB worked great, I was delighted but then disappointed when the USB-C cable didn't stay in the connector. It was too loose. If I plugged the cord into an outlet and held it there it would work, but I took my hand away and it immediately stopped charging my phone. Also, for what it's worth I connected it directly to the battery and the blue light was always on with no way to turn it off. The lid didn't stay on either, so there was no way to hide the light. I ended up throwing it away and buying another one.
