It doesn't seem to work
It's not clear why they increased the price so much since I bought it because it doesn't work. This is my second attempt to get a working thermometer and after weeks of waiting they are not working. This one and the last one don't squeak either. This one showed 97.2 as soon as I turned it on. After waiting with it under my tongue for much longer than the prescribed 8 seconds, the temp still read 97.2 and there was no beep. It will be returned. I don't know how or where people get working thermometers, but I'm very upset. This is a necessary item for a pandemic.
