This lens has manual focus and aperture and works best when the camera is set to full manual mode. It is very well made and feels solid in the hand. All lenses have an appearance and this produces very round, fuzzy highlights. The lens does suffer from diffraction at full aperture, but move it backwards a little and it's immediately clear. There is a purple/green border, but that's an easy fix. Attached photos taken across the street, taken at f11. The weed field was created at f1.8. Both were shot with an Olympus EM1 MKII at ISO 200. I would recommend a pair of ND filters if you're shooting wide open in daylight. I think I was at 1/4000 for the wide open frame. Also, the lens didn't have a lens hood, so you can buy a small 43mm lens hood. A fun lens to use. I just wish it was weatherproof too, which it isn't.
