Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Tranz-X Adjustable Alloy Bicycle Kickstand: Secure, Sturdy & Versatile Support for Your Bike by Luke Cotton

It just makes sense!

My husband ordered this for me after I complained that there was such a stigma that "real riders" didn't use footpegs. We ride 6-10 Centurys (100 miles) each year and average 60-80 miles per week. I hope that qualifies us as "real racersโ€. I LOVE this stand. It holds the weight of the bike at several different points on the bike so there is no stress on any part. It's lightweight and adjustable. I even had a bike mechanic who congratulated me for going against the grain and having a kickstand. He looked at it and said he really liked the way it was attached and the weight was distributed in several places. When we recently competed in a week-long 500 mile race, I laughed as we walked out of the grocery store. There were about 100 bikes scattered across the lawn and mine stood proudly in the middle! I like it so much my husband decided to get one too. Unfortunately he couldn't use it. He is tall and long-legged, banging his ankles when he kicks. You may need to try this yourself to see if this is an issue for you. I have never had any problems.

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Not everything fits
