Where to start with this useless tri-band router. I was using an Asus dual band router that was losing speed and decided to replace it with a brand that has been in the router game for a long time. This pos started once and crashed for me. After the final setup (after 20 minutes) I decided to do a speed test. This speed test went so badly that the WiFi connection keeps dropping out. I've only got speeds up to 20MB and that's right next to it. Did BOTH tracks 2.4 and 5.0 and got the same speeds. My old router was three times faster than this router. And after an hour of tweaking the settings, I still face the issue of getting a disconnect prompt when streaming to a Chromecast or Firestick. This "Smart Wi-Fi" feature is so poorly implemented that even my 8 year old router can bypass it. So for me it's a quick comeback and I'll be looking elsewhere for my router. And for the router, an app is just a marketing ploy to make us consumers feel like it's an easy-to-configure product.
